Sofia Parveen, a classically trained theatre artist with over five years of performance experience, makes her grand Bollywood debut in acclaimed filmmaker Rajiv Rai’s upcoming thriller ZORA, hitting theatres on August 8, 2025. Sofia’s transition from the stage to the big screen is as inspiring as it is impressive. Having trained extensively in acting, dance, improvisation, and stagecraft, Sofia has performed in award-winning plays, national musicals, and dynamic street performances. Her theatre experience has gifted her unmatched voice modulation, emotional depth, and transformative character adaptability.
In ZORA, she steps into the layered role of Bindu, a mysterious woman at the heart of the film’s murder-crime plot. Rajiv Rai, known for introducing fresh talent, was instantly captivated by her audition.
